Canada

Why This Site Exists

"Our Principles", outlines the long-standing principles upon which Canada was founded.  It sets out the common ground upon which we believe an overwhelming majority of Canadians would agree our future must be based.

It is with the purpose of encouraging a widespread grass-roots discussion, understanding, assertion and adoption of those principles that they are presented here in the hope that they will lead those who hold positions of public trust to respect and uphold the principles that once made Canada one of the most desirable places on Earth.

A Time to Work Together

Our society was founded on the basis of principles that were refined over millennia and that dictate that every person has unalienable rights that all must respect and that governments must protect.

Based on those principles, Canada developed as a country with a firm commitment to freedom, equality, justice, peace and prosperity.

Things have changed.

The institutions that were created to protect our rights have been taken over by those who have a different agenda and who are abusing the powers of public institutions to tell us what we must think and what we must do.

Discuss 'Our Principles' with your family, friends and neighbours.

The document that is presented here, “Our Principles”, outlines the long-standing principles upon which Canada was founded. They outline the common ground upon which we believe an overwhelming majority of Canadians would agree our future must be based.

It is with the purpose of encouraging a widespread discussion, assertion and adoption of those principles that they are presented here.

A sound and principled society of free persons with a commitment to ensuring real and equal justice is available to all will not return on its own.

If we allow that to continue, our rights and our freedoms will be lost and the promising future of Canada will be gone.

Change will not come unless we understand and defend those principles, and unless we take steps to have them understood and defended by all.

What is more, we must insist that all who hold positions of public trust do what their offices were created to do – uphold the principles that made Canada one of the most desirable places on Earth.

To that end, we must talk with our family, our friends and our neighbours about them and we must act in accordance with them.

In the end, our future depends on us. It's up to us!
